Is there an actual reason why the in-game File on the BSAA and its structure is a separate article, rather than incorporated into this one? Jack.of.swords 19:27, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

The in-game files have their own articles for transcription purposes. You could use the information from the file on the BSAA article if you feel that is necessary, though I would prefer you don't put all of the information in, perhaps using "For more information, see the BSAA file transcript, [[here]]" -- Forerunner 21:13, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Ah. That makes more sense. I'll see if I can pick some particular pertinent parts out of the transcript later. Jack.of.swords 08:30, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Sidearm[]

We know that Chris and Sheva pick up M92F's as well as their other equipment by default, and it's true that later Josh Stone is seen using a M92F, as well as Irving, but why is it that other B.S.A.A. members (even the dead one hanging from Ndesu's belt) are all pictured carrying what looks like a P8? Which is the standard sidearm, d'ythink?

Beretta 92F.

Its not only the 92F, Kurk is seen holding a Sig P226 and they all have HK P8s in their holsters. They have many sidearms. Francis.conway1 17:18, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

BSAA operates like the Umbrella special operation personal[]

The BSAA is devided between SOA (Special Operations Agents) and SOU (Special Operations Unit).

The Umbrella special operations personal is devided between the USS (Umbrella Special Service) and the UBCS (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service).

The USS operates like SOA and the UBCS like SOU.

Does it ever go into how members of the BSAA are recruited? Chris and Piers both served in the military, so that's probably a pre-requisite, but most of the guys that died in Chris' unit were in their early twenties. Is the BSAA like a branch of the military where you can just enlist? -- Scribe1995 (talk) 03:55, October 8, 2013 (UTC)

They're all UN workers. Think of them as Peacekeepers, but as their own military (and not foreign military personnel on assignment). -- Forerunner 06:11, October 8, 2013 (UTC)
