Memory of a Lost City is a scenario featured in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles that retels the story of Resident Evil 2 based on the scenario Claire A, Leon B featuring Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield as the main and playable characters. It occures in Raccoon City in 1998.
Chapters[]
- Chapter 1: Leon and Claire make their way to RPD on foot while fighting their way through hordes of undead. Entering the gunshop, Robert's already being eaten alive and the two escape through the back.
- Chapter 2: Upon arriving they meet up with Marvin in the main lobby and take him down together while searching for Sherry.
- Chapter 3: As the two continue searching for Sherry, they come across the tyrant and escape down the now accessible hall where they eventually catch up to Sherry and the two meet up with the Police Chief.
- Chapter 4: As Claire and Leon make their way underground, the two meet Ada Wong but seperates from them after finding out Ben was killed by the (then unknown) William Birkin. Ada hands them a Magnum and the two fight William and the battle causes Leon to fall into the sewers where Annette Birkin shoots him by mistake.
- Chapter 5: Leon and Claire meet back up and come across Annette and tell her about Sherry before they part ways ending with the Crocodile fight.
- Chapter 6: Getting to the Raccoon City Underground Laboratory, Leon and Claire put Sherry in the security office and go find a way to save her. "Trenchy" comes back and Ada helps them in their battle.
- Chapter 7: The two find Annette dying by William's talon's while she tried to stop him and tell them how Sherry can be saved and fight William in forms 3 & 4 simultanously.
- Chapter 8: The scenario reaches it's climax when Leon, Claire and Sherry (now cured) reach the train to escape only to fight the now mutated tyrant. Once taken down permanently, the two board the train with Leon at the helm and evacuate the facility before detonation. Their reprieve doesn't last long when William (now form 5) is detected and destroys a good portion of the train before being sent back into the exploding facility. When safely away, Leon relays Annette's message to Sherry and she cries in Claire's arms. Claire later leaves to continue her search for her brother Chris Redfield. At that time, Leon and Sherry are taken into custody of the US Government and Leon bargains for Sherry's release for joining their Anti-Umbrella Movement.
