Only Left-Handed Character In RE Series?

Not necessarily. We only make up 2% of the population. (I'm surprised she still used the SG-556 left-handed, though, because I can say from experience that it is a PAIN IN THE ASS!)--GunFreak 22:33, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- I don't have any hands-on experience with a SIG 556, but I can imagine hot brass in the face isn't exactly pleasant. Ghost Leader
When you're left handed, you learn how to hold the weapon so that the brass will (usually just narrowly) miss you. The real issue is reloading. Just like on the M4, it's meant to be easy to press with your right forefinger for fast reloads. Of course when you're left handed, you can't exactly hit it like that, so the reload process is rather awkward. Of course most people counter this with "just hold it right handed", but doing so makes the whole shooting process feel rather forced. yeah i mean yeah im left handed and ive handled a gun in both hands and the left is a real pain in the ass 1 time i sprained my finger but i used my right hand and i was ok and also i have a faster trigger finger on my right hand i mean i went paintball once wasted 50 bullets 1st round but i had bought a couple of bullets 500 so i was ok but my finger felt real cold after from the nitrogen gas thing omo bob so i try to fire a gun right handed. In Resident Evil 6, both Piers Nivans and Carla Radames are left-handed, but they can aim right-handed when switching view modes. The same goes for Helena Harper, Sherry Birkin and Agent, but they aim right-handed in cutscenes. Do you think Chris and Sheva will be partners in future resident evil games?
Or do you think they will go back too chris and Jill i kinda like sheva better than jill as a partner.

Wow, this post hasn't been updated in a while, but yeah Resident Evil 6 (DUH) is coming out in October, but Sheva hasn't made an appearance, although, according to the strategy guide, she's a new major protagonist, so she'll be back. Her Tattoo
It should be noted somewhere that her tattoo is NOT preasent in her Clubbin' costume.

She's very light skinned. Defenately not white, but she doesn't look black, plus her accent sounds sort of australian. Is she Colored ?

No, it doesn't matter, but... just to throw my two cents in... first of all, females (in general) tend towards lighter skin tones than men. Females need more calcium during pregnancy and lactation. The body synthesizes vitamin D from sunlight, which helps it absorb calcium. Lighter skin helps women absorb more calcium.
Secondly, while the game doesn't say which West African nation she comes from, there are several tribes that trend towards light skin phenotypes, particularly in forested areas. For example, the Igbo, Beta, Baoule, Guere, Dan/Yacouba, Koyaka, etc.
If I really wanted to, I could start discussing mutations in the KIT ligand (KITLG) and Agouti signaling peptide (ASIP) genes; mutations in these two genes are associated with lighter skin, and the ASIP mutation, in particular, occurs in 80% of West Africans...
The TL;DR version is: Her light skin tone is perfectly normal for someone from West Africa. As for her accent? Well, that's harder to explain. Maybe her English teacher was British or Australian, I dunno. 24.119.145.33 09:29, July 11, 2013 (UTC)
Trivia question (Mercenaries-Reunion)
Sheva Alomar's "Fairy Tale" outfit might actually be an allusion to two things :
- The obvious; it looks like Little Red Riding Hood.
- B.B. (Baby Bonny) Hood, from the Darkstalker series (Also produced by Capcom, by the way!), through the reference to Little Red, but the usage of firearms and explosives and such.
Shall I add this to the page(s)? I think it's valid, even if it may be a coincidence.

There is no mention of Sheva anywhere in either that forum thread or in the actual provided text file. No results for Sheva, Shiva, Shva, or any rendition of her surname. The closest is "SHEBA" which is suspect considering every other name on the list is done in its perfect localization, includes full names, or usually accompanies other identifers or qualifiers - which this does not. Even if the name was mentioned somewhere in the code, it is not enough basis to jump the gun and add her to the cast. It does not act as confirmation, it only says that at some point Capcom had the consideration - maybe. Just as supposed leaks about Carla Radames do not count, neither would this even if it was true. If they mentioned the power rangers does that automatically mean they're going to be in it? No. Sheva, until confirmed (which it's obviously that she won't be) will not be considered in 6. Another "trivia" sort of fact?
Shouldn't it be mentioned that she's a new major protagonist in the Resident Evil series? This was mentioned in either the Special Edition of the RE 5 Strategy Guide or the normal one, I can't remember. If that's not stated anywhere with solid proof like a reliable website or the book referred to above, then I'll leave this info tidbit alone. Strang3Happ3nings 06:47, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
