Umbrella Chronicles Voice
Birkin sounds just like Frank West from Dead Rising, who is voiced by Dan Southworth according to his Wikipedia article. Dead Rising's article claims he is voiced by T.J. Rotolo. Does anyone have an answer? - The 4th Snake 19:22, 5 April 2009 (UTC))
- This'll be hard. Seeing as they're not credited in Umbrella Chronicles, we may never know.-- Forerunner 19:35, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I guess we can only hope he reprises the role for Darkside Chronicles and credits are given. - The 4th Snake 19:36, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
William Birkin is voiced by T.J.Rotolo in Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles, T.J.Rotolo also voices Frank West.

He was dying, he didn't want G to be taken away and he wanted revenge so he injected himself to stop the soldiers from leaving with G, kill them and survive. - The 4th Snake 17:59, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
He loved that virus so much he would never let go of it.--Flaming skull of heaven 17:42, 10 May 2009 (UTC)flaming skull of heaven
I changed Birkin's birth year to 1961 - it says within the article itself that he was age 36 at the time of his death on September 30th 1998, and that he was 16 years old when he joined Umbrella in 1977. This means that he would have had to be born in 1961, but not yet have turned 37 when he died - hence, his birthday is in 1961, but after September 30th. - Kyle
He joined umbrella at the age of 15. He is two years younger thwn Wesker, and Wesker was born in 1960.
Should we add the stages Birkin shows during cutscenes? The mutations he shows before his first boss fight and third stage come to mind.
I would, but I don't know how many "in-between" stages there are. Can someone else do it?126.96.36.199 04:15, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
Lost in Nightmares shows a list of Wesker children in a computer file. One name on the list is William. I myself have yet to play this scenario, as I am waiting for Gold Edition. So, is this name a coincidence, or is there anything in the game that explictly confirms William Birkin to be a Wesker child? --Mateo22 Contact 00:19, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
I have yet to pLay it, but william is a fairly common name. So it is likely a coincidence. I say no, because William's surname is Birkin, not Wesker. All Wesker Children have Wesker as a surname.
Resident Evil Outbreak?
In the level Below Fleezing Point, you explore Birkin's lab, which was frozen after Birkin mutated, destroyed the lab, and then it got froze. I was looking at the back cover of the game and it shows two characts talking to a figure that looks almost exactly like Birkin. Is this worth mentioning in the trivia or something?
You mean that Researcher with a lab coat? I think that character got cutted off...just like the characters from "file #3" and the other 10 scenarios.I dont think it is worth mentioning him in the triviaTwilight Sparkle 05:40, August 7, 2011 (UTC)
I noticed this in the Trivia:
(In Darkside Chronicles, Leon knew right away that William was the assailant attacking the train when he, Claire and Sherry)
Um... can someone finish this sentence? Parts are missing but I don't know what the original editor meant to put there.

- I agree - it makes no sense. It looks like the guy was saying that in Darkside Chronicles, Leon works out that Birkin is attacking the train right away, while the team has no idea what's going on in the original.-- Forerunner 12:02, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
Birkin's first form
In the description of Birkin's first form, the one where he weilds a metal pipe, it says that he lacks claws. However if you look at his right hand in the original Resident Evil 2 artwork and several other pictures you can that he does actually sport claws albeit not very big ones like in his second transformation.
Pause this video at 2:02 and you can easily see that his hand does not change at all between then and the fight with his first form as his fingers are not totally transformed in to claws yet and seems like he can still bend them like regular fingers except that he can't bend the tips and they are curved anyway due to being in the process of being claws. 184.108.40.206 02:20, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
- I agree. I noticed this same thing yesterday. Diamonddeath 02:32, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
the Biography section has been deleted
May I ask why??? Dayle14 (talk) 18:00, September 23, 2013 (UTC)
- It hasn't been deleted - it's a cache error. That section was moved to a different name, and the redirect deleted. This hub article was changed to link us to "William Birkin/biography" (in place of the deleted "William Birkin/mainstream"). Go back to William Birkin and click on the drop-down arrow next to the red 'Edit' button. Then click "Refresh". That should recache the page and let you see the biography. -- Forerunner 18:14, September 23, 2013 (UTC)
