Abyss is a cutscene in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. It is played during the fifth chapter of the "Operation Javier" act.[1]
Plot[]
After his mutated wife Hilda was dead, Javier fused with the plant in his botanical garden, becoming the V-Complex in order to take his daughter back from Leon and Krauser.

Javier Hidalgo: "I should've done this sooner, Hilda. Stupid Americans. You think you can defeat it, don't you!? But you forget that when you look into the depths of the abyss... It swallows you whole."
