The Birth of Venus is a theme from Roman mythology depicted in various works of art.

Alexandre Cabanel painting

The Birth of Venus (Naissance de Venus), painted in 1863, is one of the most famous paintings by 19th century painter Alexandre Cabanel. The portrait was printed onto the spines of the Bandage with Blood book anthology found in Room 003 of the Dormitory located on the Spencer Mansion estate.

William-Adolphe Bouguereau painting

The Birth of Venus (La Naissance de Vénus), painted in 1879, is one of the most famous paintings by 19th century painter William-Adolphe Bouguereau. A copy of the portrait was present on the Spencer Rain in 2002.
