The Encounter is a piece of music composed for the Resident Evil remake. It appears in the Biohazard (2002) Best Track Collection and the biohazard HD REMASTER COMPLETE SOUNDTRACK.[2]

Composition of the game's soundtrack was handled by Shusaku Uchiyama, Makoto Tomozawa, and Misao Senbongi, though it is presently unknown as to who composed which piece.

This track is played when the player first encounters Lisa Trevor in her cabin behind the Spencer Mansion.
