The Wetlands is a cutscene in Resident Evil 5, played at the end of Chapter 2-3. In it, Chris and Sheva go on a new mission: to find the whereabouts of Jill Valentine. All cutscenes for the game were storyboarded by yU+co. artist, Jerry Bingham.[1]
Plot[]
In this scene, Chris and Sheva agree to put their orders aside and go on a new mission: to find the whereabouts of Jill Valentine. They enter a boat to drive through the wetlands.
Transcript[]
Sheva: "Chris! Wait!"
Chris: "I don't have much time, I have to find her."
Sheva: "I'm going with you! These are my people that are dying here."
Chris: "Are you sure about this? A second ago, you were ready to cut and run."
Sheva: "I can't just turn my back and walk away."
Chris: "There are no more orders from here on in. It's just us."
Sheva: "We're partners to the end. Now let's get moving."
Chris: "Copy that."
Sheva: 「待ちなさいってば！」
Chris: 「チャンスなんだ わかってくれ」
Sheva: 「私だって行くわ！」
「私にも理由があるの！」
Chris: 「いったいどうして？
「引き返すなら 今なんだぞ」
Sheva: 「仲間が殺されたのよ こんな所で帰れないわ！」
Chris: 「ここからはもう任務じゃない わかってるのか」
Sheva: 「相棒でしょ！ 進むも戻るも一緒よ」
「さあ 行きましょ！」
Chris: 「ああ わかった」
