The Tick was a variant of the original Hunter α.
Ticks are nearly identical to normal Hunters, only with two sickle-like hands, brown skin and two antennas on the tip of their heads. They were exclusively added to the Sega Saturn version of the original Resident Evil and have not reappeared in any games since, though were mentioned in a guidebook for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
