The Tick was a B.O.W. derived from the Hunter production line.
Biology
Ticks are nearly identical to normal Hunters, only with two sickle-like hands, brown skin and two antennas on the tip of their heads.
Further notes
They were exclusively added to the Sega Saturn version of the original Resident Evil, replacing all Hunter encounters after entering the caves. They have not reappeared in any games since, though were mentioned in a guidebook for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
