Transcend

Transcend is a cutscene in Resident Evil: Revelations 2. It is playing during the Barry's segment of "Metamorphosis", the fourth level of the game.

Plot

Barry Burton and Natalia Korda complete their journey throughout Alex Wesker's mansion and meet the crazed Overseer in her underground laboratory. In a furious attempt to destroy Natalia, Wesker injects the Uroboros virus into herself and mutates into a monstrosity. Barry, determined to protect Natalia, readies himself for battle.

Transcript

Alex: "I can still destroy you. I have to destroy you!"

Barry: "Wesker!"

Alex: "Natalia."

Barry: "Oh no you didn't."

Alex: "I understand how you felt, Albert. It's not enough to live. I want to transcend!"

Barry: "Holy fuck..."
"You can't have her, She-Wesker!"
