The Turntable is a location in the Resident Evil 2 remake.

Description

It is a large platform located on the B3 level, where the Galaxie 5000 is present. The Galaxie 5000 is mainly used during emergencies and it can powered up by placing two joint plugs onto a machinery inside a room nearby. Once powered up, the platform initiate to moved down and reach B4 level where the runway is available.

Guide

Only Claire and Sherry can enter this area, since Leon gets knocked down during the explosion inside the duct involving T-00.

An Item Box can be found straightaway during entry. To powered up the platform, the player must grab the Joint Plugs that can be found inside the Galaxie 5000 and placed it onto the machinery in the room nearby. Following a brief cutscene inside that room, the player can grab the Minigun that will take two inventory slots.

After exiting the room, the player will face "G" in its fourth stage as the platform begins to reach level B4, with limit detonation countdown.

The Turntable is also Ghost's starting point in The Ghost Survivors, albeit the train's platform has already moved down to the lower runway.
