Umbrella Prime was an underwater complex constructed by the Umbrella Corporation for the purpose of bio-weapons testing. This facility was destroyed located beneath a submarine pen on the Kamchatka Peninsula, and was destroyed in 2012.[1]

History[]

The beginning[]

This facility was constructed at some point in the 1990s following the collapse of the Soviet Union. Following Dr. Alexander Isaacs' seizure of power, work on T-virus shifted towards its applications as a bioweapon, and national governments including the United States, Russian Federation, People's Republic of China and Japan quietly expressed interest in obtaining such weaponry.

Umbrella Prime's ultimate goal was as a means of contained, dedicated bioweapons testing with no need for outside facilities. Simulations took place in several "Zones" based on real-world locations, with the participants being cloned humans implanted with false memories, some of whom being infected ahead of testing. This industrialised approach to testing allowed for a variety of scenarios to take place, from testing out an Undead attack on suburban civilians, to testing the effectiveness of Las Plagas Undead or Lickers against a soldiers.

By 2002, Umbrella had changed its core objective. No longer interested in selling bio-weaponry to foreign militaries, it instead sought to deliberately end the world in a global T-virus pandemic. Nonetheless, simulations took place like clockwork, autonomously performed by Red Queen, one of the corporation's AI programs. Umbrella Prime was instead re-used as a base for Umbrella operations over the next ten years.

Destruction[]

The destruction with some explosives planted on the turbine, it completely destroyed and sunken by Leon Kennedy himself since 2012, the total explosives destroys the turbines, pipes, and the dome of the replicated cities. As the New York City hit by falling object and the dome cracks as the seawater fell massively, flooding the Times Square, waterfalls pouring out of the buildings' windows that broken, the tidal wave covering the streets, tossing all cars, street signs, lamp posts, and everything. The massive wave also hitting Brandenburg with water erupting from streets over 200 feet high, and Berlin has been washed out with tidal wave that covering the streets. Along Moscow hit by the waterfalls of seawater that pouring out of the dome and the wave consumes St. Basil's Cathedral, the flooding the Russia's Red Square with mountains of tidal wave, consumes the Spasskaya clocktower, covering the Moscow streets, and Moscow is now filled with seawater and waterfalls pouring down from the dome cracks from top.

Umbrella Prime was highly modular in its construction, largely consisting of interconnected domed buildings of varying signs. Each module had a particular task, being for testing or for support and maintenance tasks.

  1. Submarine Pen: The only pre-existing part of the facility, built out of an abandoned Soviet-era submarine pen. This module allowed both transport to the surface as well as ocean transport in the form of the submarines themselves. Also in this module was the clone production factory itself.
  2. Moscow: A testing-facility based on Russia's Red Square. Transport between the Submarine Pen and the rest of the facility had to go through this facility..
  3. Suburbia: A testing-facility based on the Sundown Meadows, Raccoon City. This was the largest of the testing facilities and was where all other modules led to.
  4. New York Times Square: A testing-facility based on Times Square, New York.
  5. Tokyo: A testing-facility based on the Shibuya Scramble.
  6. Berlin: A testing-facility based on the German capital. Which is could be Parizer Platz, but scrapped.
  7. London: A testing-facility based on the British capital. Which is could be based on Westminster Streets, but it mentioned via scripts.
  8. China: A testing-facility based on the Great Wall of China, but it just mentioned.
