Below is a list of all unlockables in Resident Evil 6.

Ada Story
  • PS3 / Xbox 360 (Unpatched): Complete all chapters of Leon's, Chris' and Jake's story once.
  • PS3 / Xbox 360 (Patched) and every other version: Unlocked by default.
Agent Hunt
  • PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC: Complete all five chapters of one story once.
  • Nintendo Switch: Unlocked by default.
The Mercenaries No Mercy
  • PS3, Xbox 360: This mode cannot be unlocked in these versions.
  • PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch: Unlocked by default.
Survivors, Predator, Onslaught, Siege
  • PS3, Xbox 360: Unlocked via DLC purchases.
  • Subsequent releases: Unlocked by default.

MercenariesEdit

Content How to unlock
Steel Beast
  • PS3, Xbox 360, PC: Complete the Chris Story.
  • PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch: Unlocked by default.
Mining the Depths
  • All releases: Complete the Jake Story.
  • PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch: Unlocked by default.
Rail Yard, High Seas Fortress, The Catacombs, Requiem for War, Liquid Fire, Rooftop Mission, Creature Workshop
  • PS3, Xbox 360: Unlocked via DLC purchases.
  • PC: Unlocked by completing the last map with an "A" or "S" rank, getting an "A" or "S" in Mining the Depths will unlock Rail Yard, getting an "A" or "S" in Rail Yard will unlock High Seas Fortress, and so on.
  • PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch: All maps are unlocked by default.

Agent
  • PS3 / Xbox 360 (Unpatched): This character cannot be unlocked without the patch.
  • PS3 / Xbox 360 (Patched) and every other version: Unlocked by default.

CostumesEdit

Note: In the PS3/PS4, Xbox 360/Xbox One and PC versions, these costumes cannot be used in the story mode. However, the Nintendo Switch version allows all EX costumes to be used in the story.

Content How to unlock
EX1 Costumes All EX1 Costumes are unlocked by playing with the DEFAULT costume of a character in The Mercenaries or The Mercenaries No Mercy and obtaining an "A" or "S" on either SOLO or DUO mode in every version of the game.

For example, getting an "A" rank in any map as Leon Scott Kennedy (DEFAULT) will unlock Leon's EX1 Costume. It will not unlock Leon's EX2, EX3, or another character's EX1.

EX2 Costumes
  • PS3, Xbox 360 and PC: Unlocked by using RE Points on RE.NET. Each costume costs 60,000 REP.
  • PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch: Randomly unlocked by playing the Extra Content.
As stated in the Resident Evil 6 Nintendo Switch Manual, players complete an Onslaught match 10 times in order to unlock Leon's EX2 Costume. It is unknown if the rest of the EX2 or EX3 costumes follow this same pattern and if this is the same requirement for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

EX3 Costumes
  • PS3, Xbox 360 and PC: Unlocked by using Extra Tickets on RE.NET. Each costume costs 1 Extra Ticket.
  • PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch: Randomly unlocked by playing the Extra Content.
As stated in the Resident Evil 6 Nintendo Switch Manual, players must defeat Ustanak in the Predator mode 5 times in order to unlock Leon's EX3 Costume. It is unknown if the rest of the EX3 or EX2 costumes follow this same pattern and if this is the same requirement for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
