This unnamed researcher was an Umbrella employee who worked in the NEST facility located in Raccoon City.
Below Freezing Point
He was fatally wounded by one of two Hunter Rs that had escaped and started a killing spree. He and a fellow researcher managed to reach the Low Temperature Experiment Room, where the unnamed Umbrella researcher left a note that expressed regret for the creation of the Hunters, stating that it was foolish of him to do so. Just prior to dying, he managed to lower the temperature in B4F of the Umbrella facility by freezing the Hunters where they stood in order to halt their killing spree.
