The Uriaș Drac (meaning “Devil Giant” in Romanian) are rare giant mutants found in an isolated mountain village in Eastern Europe.

Biology[]

Uriaș Drac appears to be a Cadou-mutated human with a greater affinity than the average subject, allowing it to grow into a hulking brute about twice as tall as an average human adult. As its name suggests, it has some physical similarities to Uriaș, but without the lupine mutations seen in most Lycan variants; instead, its body develops bloodied scars and a noticeable hunchback. It is significantly stronger and more durable than a human or even a basic Lycan, being able to wield an enormous axe while absorbing significant amounts of damage, but its speed is unimpressive.

Gameplay[]

There are two Uriaș Drac in Resident Evil Village. One will appear once the player obtains the Broken Slab and returns to Beneviento's Treasure. During this fight, Moroaice will also be present together. The second one is located at Otto's Mill, with the ability to call Samce for backup. There are also red barrels around the room to help deal with the enemies.

Uriaș Drac attacks with its massive axe, giving it a long-reaching melee attack. It has a few different swings, but Ethan can usually avoid them as long as he keeps moving away from the brute. The terrain should be used to his advantage; the first Uriaș Drac will leap across the pile of gravestones in the center of its area if Ethan is on the opposite side of them, but if he remains just out of reach it will stay on the ground. The second Uriaș Drac has no equivalent attack, and can be lured to the second floor of its area before Ethan jumps down, giving him some time to reposition himself or attack the foe as it jumps down to continue its pursuit.

Both Uriaș Drac are optional mini-bosses, but they will each drop a Giant Crystal Axe when killed.
