The Uriaș Străjer (meaning "Giant Sentinel" in Romanian) is the older, stronger brother of Uriaș, both pre and post Lycan transformation. He is released from the Mold beneath the Village to battle Chris Redfield from reaching the Black God and hindering Miranda's plans; however, he is killed by the veteran BSAA operator with fire support from John "Lobo" Perlman.
Biology[]
Like his younger brother, Uriaș Străjer is a human who was converted into a feral beast-man by a Cadou implanted in his body, becoming significantly larger and stronger than a regular Lycan. He is unnaturally large and muscular, with a wild mane of grey hair around his face. His mutation is more severe than Uriaș, with several tendrils protruding from a large growth on his back (resembling a much less extreme version of Salvatore Moreau's hunchback). He also has armor-like protrusions on his shoulders and face, with the latter resembling a wolf mask.
Gameplay[]
Uriaș Străjer fights similarly to Uriaș, using an enormous mace instead of a hammer or the axe wielded by Uriaș Drac. However, Străjer is much more aggressive and lacks some of Uriaș's abilities, such as throwing pillars or summoning Lycan reinforcements. The area in which he is fought is also much smaller than Uriaș's arena, making it harder to avoid his attacks.
Uriaș Străjer is highly resistant to damage, but his tentacle-ridden back is a weak spot. Aside from dodging his attacks and shooting him in the back, Chris can stun him with a Flash Grenade or call for a missile strike from Lobo; the latter will deal heavy damage on top of stunning Uriaș Străjer for a moment. Caution should be taken when calling a missile strike; it takes a few seconds for the Target Locator to take effect, and Lobo will need some time to reload between shots.
Upon death, Uriaș Străjer will drop a Giant Crystal Mace that can be sold to The Duke once the player regains control of Ethan Winters.
