My sister really enjoyed Resident Evil 5, loves the Mercs especially playing as Sheva. As it was the first game in the series she had actually picked up instead of watching, I decided to start her over at the beginning and started her on the REmake. She played maybe until the first zombie then passed it back to me. The zombie moaning in that game terrified her, so she snuggles next to me and watches instead of plays.
That might not have much of anything to do with this post, but it does lead me to my point. I don't know about you guys, but there's usually some points in games that I just nitpick about. When I was running past Kenneth's body for the upteenth time, it hit me: there has never been a canon zombied Kenneth (that I recall anyway and I've played I think every version of the first game). I know there's one in an S.D. Perry novel, but I'm talking strictly games here.
Of all the S.T.A.R.S. members to die, he is the first one we see (though most likely not the first to die. I'm assuming that was Forest myself since he animates right when you encounter him) and the one that you run past multiple times (if you're like me and backtrack way more than you're supposed to). Richard was eaten so no zombie for him, Edward was infected and later became a zombie, Joseph died outside and so may have zombified off camera we can't really say, Enrico was shot and possibly not infected at death, Forest zombied it up, and so did Brad (at a later point of course). The only one left that could have (should have since death by zombie tends to lead to zombie) is Kenneth.
Maybe it's just me wanting to see some S.T.A.R.S. zombies here, but I want a Kenneth zombie. Surely I'm not the only one crazy about the little details. What's something from the series that bugs you, though to others it might mean absolutely nothing?
