Description

Guide

Three crows will be sitting on tomb stones so those are easy kills for money. Also look at the tomb stones that have two connected, use those to get the Green Catseye. A bird's nest holds a rare item in this area. The Church bell can be shot, effectively ringing it at any time, attracting more Ganados . At night after the battle with Del Lago, a wagon appears near the church which was be ignited (by shooting it) in order to kill a large proportion of the group of Ganados approaching. Furthermore, this is one of the few locations in the game in which the dogs infected with Las Plagas can be found.

In Separate Ways, simply shooting the church bells will switch to a still shot of it and display the message

"I have to get inside the church if I plan on ringing that bell."

Examines

Main game

Location Action Localization Original script
Any of the three twin graves CHECK (view the grave) Twins must be buried under this grave. This insignia's a little different. Maybe they're different for all the graves.
The single graves CHECK I've seen this insignia before. But maybe they're different depending on the grave.
The church while it is locked OPEN It won't open. There's a round hole. Maybe something fits here.
The side door while it is locked OPEN It won't budge! It's gotta be locked from the other side.
The device behind the church OPERATE "3 family insignias of the dead ringers" It looks like the dial only turns clockwise in either 3 or 4 increments. (Graveyard puzzle)

Separate Ways

Location Action Localization Original script
Any of the twin graves CHECK (view grave) This looks like a twins' grave. That's not the insignia of the Los Illuminados. Do the graves each have different insignias?
Any of the single grave CHECK Looks like the Los Illuminados Insignia. Different graves seem to bear different markings.
The church while it is locked OPEN (view door and locked sound) The door won't open. It looks like something may fit into this round indentation.
The side door while it is locked OPEN (locked door sound) It won't budge! It must be locked from the other side.
The device behind the church OPERATE "3 family insignias of the dead ringers" It looks like the dial only turns clockwise in either 3 or 4 increments. (Graveyard puzzle)
The gate that appears after the puzzle CHECK The bars shut on me when I took that insignia.
The puzzle while the gate is up CHECK Unless something is set in the mechanism, the bars won't open.
The puzzle after taking and putting back the Round Insignia CHECK (view hatch opening)
The door to the Quarry OPEN (locked door sound) It won't budge. Something's holding the door firmly in place from the other side.
