Vinsent was a US Marine Corps MP. In July 1998, he and another Marine were ordered to drive 2Lt. Billy Coen to the Regarthon Base for execution. Driving through the Arklay Mountains, they were attacked by mutant animals and their vehicle was overturned, with the two men killed immediately after.
