W. Keith was a child prodigy headhunted by the Spencer Foundation. Taking up classes at the Umbrella Executive Training School, a boarding school for children recruited into the company, Keith was viewed as worthless by its director, Dr. James Marcus.[1] By the end of the year Keith had been taken away by Marcus to serve as a test subject in the t-Virus Project. Keith's body was kept alive and preserved in the lab as a specimen.[2]
