The "Bite" attack carries a 30% chance of entering BLEEDING status when hit on all difficulty modes.
Strategies
The Zombie Hyena is best to be avoided due to their Bite move. If combat is required - for example, to protect an AIPC - it is best to conserve ammunition an instead to tackle. One tackle is enough to knock it down. Afterwards, the player can proceed to finish it off with stomps which will stunlock it in place. Ammunition conservation is advised due to fact that Zombie Hyenas will repopulate areas after being cleared.
